Our investee selection process is intentional, thorough, thoughtful, and rigorous, reflecting our approach to social investing.  Below is our timeline to select a new investee cohort for our 2018-2023 funding cycle.

February 5, 2018: Application information disseminated

February 22, 2018: Applicant Information Session held in Bridgeport

March 28, 2018: Completed application and supporting documents due

April 2018: Finalists selected

April/May 2018: Due diligence conducted

June/July 2018: 2018-2023 Investee Cohort selected and notified

  • Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) for initiatives involving multiple entities developed and signed by all parties involved
  • Investment Agreement for each investee finalized and signed

July/August 2018: Capacity Building Plan for the 2018-2019 school year developed by each investee

August/September 2018: General operating and capacity building funds disbursed to each investee (upon submission of the Capacity Building Plan)

November 16, 2018: Annual Investee Cohort Gathering
